About Life Song Therapy
“To Find Healing Through Music”
Mission: Life Song Therapy is here to provide quality music therapy services to individuals, schools, and agencies in the Ohio Valley and to serve as a resource for the community concerning music used for health, wellness and developmental growth for all ages.
Meet the Therapist: Jennifer Hezoucky, MT-BC
Jennifer graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College’s Music Therapy Program with a Bachelor’s of Music degree. Jennifer is a board-certified music therapist and owner of Life Song Therapy, a music therapy private practice in the Ohio Valley. She also completed training in MusicTogether and is a registered Music Together specialist.
Jennifer has enjoyed music for as long as she can remember. She participated in choir and band since the 5th grade and performed in many concerts and competitions through her school years. Jennifer also studied the clarinet for almost 14 years and aimed to be the best musician she could be.
Throughout Jennifer’s young life and in college, she gained a particular interest in working with children with special needs and became a home respite care provider for young children with disabilities. Through her experiences, she grew and nurtured relationships with the children, as well as their families.
Jennifer always knew that she wanted to pursue a career in music, but did not discover the field of music therapy until her second year of college. She knew that combining music and the love of children with special needs was a perfect fit for her. Jennifer’s passion for music therapy shines through her direct music therapy services and offerings, as well as in her published book, Life is Musical.
